About this game

A restaurant or coffee chain every day, in ten guesses. The cells are country, continent, founding year, type of food and price tier.

The pool puts the global giants next to strong Arab chains: Al Baik, Herfy, Kudu, Shawarmer and Maestro Pizza from Saudi Arabia, Zaatar w Zeit, Roadster, Crepaway and Hallab from Lebanon, Hashem and Habibah from Jordan, Mo'men, Cook Door and Zooba from Egypt.

How to play it well

Type of food is a text cell, right or wrong with no amber, and it is the strongest cell in the game. There are only ten categories, so one correct hit cuts the pool to a small slice.

Open with a famous American chain like McDonald's. The United States is the largest share of the pool, so a green puts you in the biggest group and a grey removes a third of the list immediately.

Founding year means the first location opening, not company registration. That explains the dates that look impossible: Hallab in Tripoli since 1881, Mado in Turkey since 1850, Paul in France since 1889, Yoshinoya in Japan since 1899.

A grey country with a green continent is a valuable hint in this game specifically, because the Arab chains cluster across neighbouring countries.
